Upcoming youth programs, Heart's Desire Tea a success and Crypthand at Neptune Theatre's Young Company

Upcoming Youth Programs!
We are running youth programs for preteens and teens this spring and summer! For preteens (ages 11-14) we are running 6 master classes on Tuesday evening at Shubie Park (Dartmouth) in collaboration with the Adventure Earth Centre. Sessions will include classes in clowning, paper maché building techniques and improv. Sign up through HRM MyREC account!
For teens (ages 14-18) we are offering a performance training program in conjunction with our newest show Icarus, Falling of Birds. Teen ensemble members will rehearse throughout July and August and perform at the end of the summer with a cast of professional musicians, designers, puppeteers and poets. To sign up for a group audition or for more information, email us at [email protected].

Heart’s Desire a Success
Thank you to everyone who came out to our first afternoon tea fundraiser for our youth programs. We enjoyed an afternoon of hosting tea, sweet treats, sandwiches and chatting with new friends. A big thanks to our table sponsors, Liberty Tax Services and Rosie Porter and our Food Sponsors, Luke’s Small Goods and 24 Carrot Bakery. We look forward to next year’s Heart’s Desire Tea!

Lily, Ailsa and I were blown away last night when we attended Neptune’s youth production of Crypthand. It was thrilling to see a cast of 17 teenagers take on this play. A huge congratulations to the cast and crew, what a dream to see this play live on past us!
You still have time to see the show, you can buy tickets at :

Ailsa Galbreath (originated the role of Matron and Helen), Franziska Glen (originated the role of Anne Lister) and Lily Falk (playwright)
